As a Nonna, you get to set what care you provide, some examples of services you can offer are below:
Cooking and meal preparation

Companionship and assistance with daily routines
Running small errands or assisting with appointments
It is completely up to you what services you choose to offer, however the more services you offer, the easier it is for us to find a family in your local area.

You do not need formal qualifications to become a Nonna, but experience in caregiving, cooking, or working with children is highly valued. You should have a genuine passion for helping families, be reliable, and possess good communication skills. You will require a current Working With Children check

To become a Nonna, you will need to fill out the form on our website and we will reach out with a profile for you to fill in to help us find a family for you. After reviewing your application, we’ll start matching you with local families who need care.

Yes, during the onboarding process, you can specify the types of services you are most comfortable providing, whether it's childcare, cooking, or general household support. We will match you with families based on your preferences and skillset.

We strive to match Nonnas with families in their local areas to make travel easy and convenient. It is important that you specify how far you are comfortable to travel and we’ll do our best to match you with nearby families.

You can set your preferred working schedule, whether it's morning, afternoon or evening and what days you are available.

Nonnas are paid based on the hours they work. You track your hours and we will arrange payment into your bank account. Payment is made on a fortnightly basis.

Yes, you are welcome to work with multiple families.

If a family’s needs change or you feel the match is no longer working for you, please inform us. We can work with the family to adjust the care plan or reassign you to a different family that better suits your availability and preferences.
